Introduction to the Department
As one of the earliest departments established in this university, the Department of Industry Administration was founded in 1970. Since its establishment, the department's core program has been a two-year daytime upper-division undergraduate curriculum which accepts junior college graduates with background in engineering and engineering management. Upon the completion of two years of coursework in industrial management, the students are awarded a bachelor's degree. There are currently 170 students enrolled in this program. The department started to recruit the students for its master's degree program in 1979, for advanced studies in industrial management and systems science. About 80 students are currently enrolled in the masters program.
